Mothers Day card 2010
So this is a little bouncy mothers day card that i made and layered up with laura ashley papers. Dont you just love the laura ashley and anna griffen florals, they are so dainty and delicate.
paper rosesjust punched flowers which i .......heres the technical bit.......squished up and layered up to look like real roses. I chose cream and pastel pink to tiein with the paperI was using.
I cut a slightly smaller diamond shape for a layered effect. Instead of simply sticking it on I decided to use a tiny brad and attach it to the card at the top point. Then using the brad as a swivel it allowed the layered panel to swing round. So I put a tiny message underneath it.

It is a really simple card but is quite effective. I love them for kids cards and of course now I done one for Mothers Day I might try experimenting with them a bit more.
